This tractor exhibited extensive paint oxidation, diminished plastic components, and glass surfaces with a roughness akin to sandpaper. Our restoration process commenced with an all-purpose cleaner (APC) scrub utilizing the softer side of a blue Scotch-Brite pad. This method effectively mirrors the traditional clay bar treatment for single-stage agricultural paint.
Following the APC scrub, we initiated the polishing phase with rotary polishers, serving as the preliminary stage of polish. Subsequently, we transitioned to random orbital polishers to complete the polishing process. To ensure a pristine surface for coating application, we employed a panel preparation solution to eliminate any residual oils and contaminants that could impede the ceramic coating's adhesion. The final step in the restoration process involved the application of two layers of a ceramic coating specifically formulated for agricultural equipment, covering all exterior surfaces. This meticulous approach not only revitalizes the tractor's appearance but also provides a durable layer of protection against environmental elements.
