New Hagie Sprayer

On this Hagie STS16, we achieved full-spectrum protection and restoration, ensuring it’s ready to perform in the toughest environments. This customer visited the manufacturing plant to see his sprayer in production, where Hagie referred us as the experts to contact for the ultimate protection against corrosion, oxidation, and UV damage.

What we accomplished

We coated the under-chassis, including the frame rails, fittings, brackets, major welds, and bolts, following meticulous decontamination. Two layers of ceramic coating were applied—one by hand and the other with an airbrush—to achieve maximum durability and full coverage, even in hard-to-reach areas. The outer frame rail body panels, cab glass, roof, platforms, handrails, and tank supports were thoroughly prepped and coated for added resistance and a flawless finish.

The booms and front lifting rack underwent a detailed process, with the outer faces polished to remove water spots and marring before both inner and outer surfaces were prepped and coated with two layers of ceramic. The wheels were polished, prepped, and coated on both inner and outer faces, while the airbag lift assembly, and its black plastic cover were coated after removal and cleaning.

Lastly, the steering components received a mix of polishing, hand coating, and airbrush application to ensure every surface is protected. The final result is a fully shielded machine with enhanced durability, corrosion resistance, and a finish that maintains its pristine appearance and performance in demanding agricultural conditions.

Chassis & booms ceramic coated

Under-chassis STS Sprayer prepped and ceramic coated with Iwata LPH-80 airbrush at 12psi

To ensure comprehensive protection, all bottom covers were removed to fully access the under-chassis components. The frame rails, fittings, hose connectors, brackets, welds, and bolts were meticulously decontaminated to remove any dirt, grease, or contaminants that could compromise the coating process. Once prepared, two coats of industrial-grade ceramic coating were applied. The first coat was carefully applied by hand, ensuring a solid and thorough base layer on all accessible surfaces. The second coat was applied using an Iwata LPH-80 airbrush set to 12 PSI, delivering maximum durability and complete coverage, even in areas that are impossible to coat by hand. This precise, dual-layer application guarantees superior protection and longevity for the equipment, even under the harshest conditions.

The booms and front lifting rack underwent the same meticulous process to ensure optimal protection and a flawless finish. Each outer face of the booms, covering all four sides, was single-stage polished to eliminate water spots and micro-marring, restoring a pristine surface. Following the polishing, a comprehensive decontamination was performed to remove any residual debris or contaminants. Both the inner and outer surfaces of the booms were then coated using the same process. Two coats of industrial-grade ceramic coating were applied: the first coat was carefully applied by hand to create a durable base layer, while the second coat was applied using an Iwata LPH-80 airbrush at 12 PSI, ensuring complete coverage, even in intricate or hard-to-reach areas.

The inner and outer faces of the wheels were meticulously polished to remove imperfections, followed by thorough preparation and application of a ceramic coating to ensure maximum protection. The black plastic covering was removed to fully expose the airbag lift assembly, allowing for precise coating predominantly applied with an airbrush to ensure complete coverage in hard-to-reach areas. The black plastic cover itself was also carefully ceramic coated to enhance its durability and resistance to environmental wear. Additionally, the steering components were prepped and coated using a combination of hand application and airbrushing. Select surfaces of the steering assembly received a single-stage polish to remove marring and water spots, resulting in a flawless finish. This comprehensive process guarantees that all components are protected and maintain their pristine condition under demanding conditions.
