Decal & Striping Restoration | BK Industrial Coatings

Decal & Striping Restoration

Clean removal and replacement for faded, cracked, or outdated decals and striping — matched to original equipment graphics, safety and ID markings, or fleet-standard branding.

A complete finish restoration, not just new vinyl

Aged graphics on freshly corrected paint undercut the whole job. Old decals and striping are removed cleanly, the surface underneath is corrected, and new material is applied so the finished panel reads as one restoration instead of new paint next to peeling vinyl.

The process starts with reviewing the equipment's current decals and striping — condition, placement, and whether replacement material needs to match OEM specs or a fleet standard — before removal begins.

How the process works

The steps below describe the service flow.

Confirm Decal Specs

New decals or striping are sized and matched to the equipment before removal starts, so the team can plan placement and application around them.

Clean Removal

Old decals come off using tools and methods that avoid residue or paint damage, whatever the age or condition of the existing material.

Surface Correction

After removal, the surface is corrected and polished so it's smooth and free of imperfections before new decals go on.

Precision Application

New decals are applied with attention to alignment, bubbles, and secure adhesion on a prepared surface.

Ceramic Coating Application

A ceramic coat over the entire surface, including the new decals, adds environmental protection and ties the finish together.
